Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email address or phone number, username, authentication identifiers and account settings.
• Profile and community data: name, photo, biography, motorcycle interests, posts, comments, likes, ratings, reports and blocking choices.
• Location and route data: location while the app is in use, route points, places and ride information when you choose location or route features. The current release does not request background location.
• Motorcycle and maintenance data: motorcycles, photos, odometer and maintenance records you add.
• Marketplace data: listings, stores, products, orders, offers and contact requests.
• Technical data: app version, device/platform information, error and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use data to create and authenticate accounts; provide profiles, community, rides, maps, garage and marketplace functions; show relevant content; process user requests; prevent abuse; investigate reports; maintain security; fix errors; and comply with law.

3. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by providers that help deliver the service, including Supabase (authentication, database and storage), Google (sign-in and maps services), Apple (sign-in) and Expo (application build and update services). Photos on the website's destinations pages are loaded directly from Unsplash’s servers, so Unsplash receives the technical data your browser sends with any image request, such as your IP address and browser type; we do not send it any account information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a lawful business transfer.

4. Permissions and choices

You can deny device permissions, edit profile information, block or report users, remove content where available, sign out, or request account deletion. Some functions may not work without their required permission.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you submit a verified deletion request, we aim to delete or anonymize your account and personal profile data within 30 days; this is a target, not a guaranteed deadline. Active data is removed first. Backup copies, and certain security, fraud-prevention, legal or transaction records, may remain for a limited period until they expire automatically or the reason for keeping them ends. You can email us to ask what, if anything, remains retained after your request.

6. Security, children and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. MotoCircleX is intended for people aged 18 or older. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.

7. Your rights and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact [email protected]. We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date above will be changed when an update is published.
